Peter Bellchambers - Director

As Director, Peter is responsible for Shingle Inn's site development, information technology and financial management departments.

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Peter has extensive experience in operating a network of hospitality businesses, including multiple cafes, a central bakery facility and numerous, large, multifaceted hotels.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland, Peter commenced work at an inner city Brisbane coffee shop in 1987, later becoming responsible for the daily management of the café. Since then, Peter's hospitality and retail career has encompassed the establishment, management and operation of an array of hospitality businesses in Australia and internationally, notably the set-up coordination and management of high volume food and beverage outlets at two World Expositions in Brisbane in 1988 and in Europe in 1998.

A driving force behind Shingle Inn's strategic and financial direction, Peter's research into hospitality concepts in North America, Europe and throughout Australia, together with his hands-on knowledge of daily café operations, ensures his dedication to the future success of Shingle Inn.
