Shingle Inn Consumer Promotion July 2016

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entry to the competition commences 7am AEST Friday 1st July 2016, and finishes 5pm AEST Sunday, 28 August 2016.
  3. Entry is open to everyone 18 years of age or older. Employees of Shingle Inn Franchising Pty Ltd (The Promoter) are ineligible to enter.
    To enter the competition customers must purchase a cold beverage and hot beverage at any Shingle Inn cafe. Select hot beverages include coffee, tea, Decadent Hot Chocolate & Gluten Free Hot Chocolate, water, sparkling water & Schweppes soft drink range. During the promotional period customers will receive a competition entry form with their purchase.
  4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
  5. Multiple entries are permitted. Customers can enter as many times as they like during the promotional period using the above method.
    At the end of the promotional period, 80 entries will be drawn at Shingle Inn’s Franchising Office, Suite 4, 23 Breene Place, Morningside QLD 4170 at 11am AEST Friday, 9th September 2016.
  6. The 80 selected entrants will be notified by phone or email by Friday 16th September that they have progressed to the next stage of the promotion. They will be invited to the Shingle Inn Location within their state to take part in the chance to win $10,000 cash.
  7. 80 selected entrants will have their details published on the Shingle Inn website by Tuesday 20th September 2016.
  8. On Friday 23rd September 2016 at 11am (Australia Eastern Standard Time), the 80 entrants will need to attend one of the following Shingle Inn stores:
    • NSW/ACT  –  Rouse Hill, NSW
    • VIC – Eastland, Vic
    • WA – Perth CBD (St George Terrace)
    • QLD – Shingle Inn City Hall, King George Square
  9. Participants will need to arrange their own transportation to the winners events in each state.
  10. 80 Patty Cakes will be prepared with one of these holding the WINNER coin inside the cupcake. The winner will be the entrant who selects the patty cake with the WINNER coin inside the Patty cake.
  11. The winner will receive a cheque for $10,000 cash .
  12. Prize is non transferrable.
  13. Accumulative Prize Value (Major & Minor) $10,000.
  14. The winner of the $10,000 cash drawn at a Shingle Inn will have their name published on the Shingle Inn Website on 23rd September 2016.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process.
  16. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries sent but not received by the Promoter. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter.
    In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
  17. Entrants have the choice to sign up to the Shingle Inn Notebook program. By signing up to the Notebook program customers will receive monthly specials and offers. The personal information supplied to the Promoter for the purpose of entering this competition may be used for future marketing and publicity purposes, and this information may be disclosed to organisations to which we outsource our mailing functions. The personal information may also be disclosed to third parties to determine whether an entrant has breached these terms and conditions. You consent to us so using and disclosing your personal information. Please contact us if you do not wish us to use your personal information for these purposes, or if you wish to access, correct or update the information.
