The iconic Shingle Inn takes the stress out of Christmas with a decadent range of hand-crafted, exclusive Christmas treats available to enjoy in-store or to create a decadent Christmas table.
This year’s range includes NEW bite-size delights: Truffles, Salted Caramel Brownies, White Christmas and Rocky Road that can be purchased individually or as a six-bite gift box with your choice of treats. In a first for the company, this delicious range will be available for free sampling by customers on special days throughout November and December in all Shingle Inn cafes.
In addition, this year Shingle Inn is proud to continue their long history of using premium ingredients and creating unique, hand-crafted cakes with the introduction of their “Vintage 2017 Limited Edition Fruit Cake” – a testament to the heritage of a brand that has been enjoyed by generations of families for 81 years.
The brainchild of second generation business owner, Andrew Bellchambers, and brought to life by an extraordinary bakery team, this cake has been crafted and nurtured for 12 months. Starting with their traditional recipe, premium fruit and peel and the highest quality spirits have been added to the cake at regular intervals throughout the year. Absorbing this alcohol over such a long period has resulted in an intense, rich, fragrant Christmas Fruit Cake that is unlike any other you’ve ever experienced.
Only 200 Vintage 2017 Limited Edition cakes have been created and they will retail for $120 each.
